Delhi High Court Grants Bail To Man Booked For Murder After His Father Hit Deceased With Knife

The Delhi High Court granted bail to a man charged with murder after his father fatally stabbed the deceased during a quarrel. 

Justice Amit Sharma noticed that the accused had been in custody for 18 months and there was no evidence showing he knew his father was carrying a knife.

While the prosecution claimed he encouraged the attack, this was not supported by witness statements. The Court concluded that his involvement was not clearly established, justifying his release on bail.
