Delhi HC Grants Dynamic+ Injunction to Protect JioStar’s Broadcast Rights for India Tour of England 2025

The Delhi High Court granted a dynamic+ injunction in favour of JioStar India Pvt. Ltd., restraining illegal streaming of the India Tour of England 2025 (ITE 2025) and empowering JioStar to notify and block any mirror or redirect sites through ISPs and domain registrars in real time. 

Justice Saurabh Banerjee observed that the rogue sites used systematic, intentional piracy tactics like URL masking and identity concealment, making swift and adaptive relief essential. 

The Court observed consistent copyright infringement and identity masking, violations of Sections 51 and 55 of the Copyright Act, 1957, granting a four-week interim block and scheduling the next hearing for August 14, 2025.
