The Delhi High Court granted the Enforcement Directorate (ED) a final opportunity to argue its challenge to the bail granted to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy money laundering case.
The court, noting that the matter had been adjourned ten times, directed the ED to commence arguments immediately, refusing further adjournments.
The ED has challenged the June 2024 trial court order granting Kejriwal bail of ₹1 lakh, following his arrest on March 21, 2024, for allegedly conspiring to benefit certain liquor sellers and fund the AAP campaign, which he has denied.
The next hearing is scheduled for November 10.
