Delhi High Court Grants Interim Relief to House of Masaba in Trademark Infringement Case

The Delhi High Court granted interim relief to fashion designer Masaba Gupta's brand, House of Masaba, in a trademark infringement suit against entities using the name Masaba Couture. 

Justice Amit Bansal restrained the defendants from using trademarks like “Masaba” and “Masaba Couture” and directed Instagram to remove the infringing accounts. 

The Court found that the defendants misled consumers by falsely associating with House of Masaba, harming its trademark's distinctiveness. 

The Court directed Instagram to share the defendants' contact details with the plaintiff.

The matter is set for its next hearing on 23 July.
