Delhi High Court Grants Interim Relief to Select City Walk in Trademark Dispute

The Delhi High Court restrained a real estate developer from using the mark “Vardhman CityWalk,”  finding it deceptively similar to “Select City Walk.”

The order came in a trademark infringement suit filed by Select City Walk. Granting interim protection, the Bench directed the developer to cease advertising, promoting, or using the contested name until further orders.

The Court observed that the resemblance between the marks was likely to create confusion among the public and emphasised the established goodwill and reputation enjoyed by Select City Walk in the market.
