Delhi High Court Seeks ED’s Response on Kejriwal’s Pleas Against Excise Policy Case Summons

The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on petitions filed by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal challenging summons issued in the Delhi Excise Policy money laundering case.

Justice Ravinder Dudeja directed the ED to submit its response, including preliminary objections, within six weeks. Kejriwal has contested the trial court’s summons, which were upheld by a sessions court.

The ED alleges that the 2021–22 excise policy was manipulated to facilitate kickbacks used to fund AAP’s Goa campaign. The matter is listed for hearing on September 10.
