The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the newly elected President of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU), Aryaan Maan and others who have been accused of violating orders and guidelines framed for the elections.
The results were announced on September 19, and it was found that the violations continued despite an explicit order banning victory processions.
The court noted that despite an order banning victory processions, violations occurred, including property defacement, pamphlet distribution, and excessive use of vehicles and tractors, which disrupted public life.
The court also directed news channels Aaj Tak Delhi and ETV Bharat Delhi to be impleaded as respondents in the petition.
