The Delhi High Court directed Delhi University's Chief Election Officer to preserve the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in the recent Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) polls after NSUI leaders Ronak Khatri and Joslyn Nandita Choudhary alleged EVM tampering.
The court issued notice to Delhi University on their petition seeking quashing of the presidential election results due to blue ink markings on EVMs favouring ABVP candidate Aryan Maan, undermining the election's transparency and legitimacy.
The petition accused election officials of ignoring requests to halt polling and secure EVMs.
The court scheduled the next hearing for December 16.
