The Delhi High Court has eased the travel conditions imposed on Congress MP Karti Chidambram, which prevented him from travelling abroad without seeking the trial court's permission.
However, it was clarified that he must provide an itinerary of his proposed journeys to the authorities two weeks in advance.
The MP was alleged to be a part of the INX Media Scam, where certain irregularities were noticed in a Foreign Investment Promotion Board clearance granted to the media group to receive overseas funding in 2007.
Chidambram was granted bail in March 2018, but was not allowed to leave the country without the trial court's approval.
