Delhi High Court Restrains Websites From Using Samsung’s Logo, Orders Domain Suspension

The Delhi High Court has restrained three websites from using Samsung’s logo, design, and images without authorisation, holding that it amounted to trademark and copyright infringement.

Justice Tejas Karia directed that access to the domains be locked, suspended, or disabled during the pendency of the suit.

Samsung Electronics alleged that the defendants falsely projected themselves as authorised service centres by using the “Samsung” mark.

The Court found this to be a “dishonest, calculated attempt” to mislead consumers and harm the company’s reputation.
