The Delhi High Court has sought responses from IIT Kanpur, NTA, and the Central Government after JEE Advanced candidate Sanidhya Saluja reported technical glitches and a disturbing incident at the exam hall.
During the first session on May 18, his computer screen began flickering and remained dim, affecting exam-readiness. In the second session, a lizard repeatedly appeared near his test terminal despite removal efforts; both disruptions hampered his performance.
Justice Vikas Mahajan directed the authorities to submit an affidavit detailing the exam’s conduct guidelines, permitting a sealed cover submission if confidentiality is required.
Saluja has requested that his JEE Main score be considered instead of the flawed Advanced exam result.
