
The Delhi High Court has suspended trial court judge Sanjeev Kumar Singh with immediate effect, pending disciplinary proceedings.
An order issued on August 29 by Registrar General Arun Bhardwaj said that while the inquiry is underway, Singh’s headquarters will remain at the office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, South, Saket, New Delhi.
He has also been barred from leaving Delhi without prior permission from the competent authority.
The suspension was ordered under Rule 3(1)(a) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969, read with Rule 27 of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1970.
