‘Don’t Wash Dirty Linen in Public’: Delhi High Court Suggests Mediation in Sunjay Kapur Will Dispute

The Delhi High Court has urged parties disputing late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s estate to explore mediation instead of prolonged litigation.

Observing that “dirty linen” was being washed in public, the Court noted that all parties had suffered personal loss and should resolve the matter amicably.

The dispute involves rival claims over Kapur’s estate, including challenges to a 2025 will and the legality of a family trust.

Justice Mini Pushkarna emphasised that the interests of all parties, including elderly and minor family members, must be protected during mediation.
