Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) has sent a second legal notice to Ernst & Young (EY), accusing it of conflict of interest and professional misconduct.
AESL claims EY was deeply involved in its financial matters, including a proposed merger with BYJU’S, while also serving as “exclusive financial advisor” to competitor Allen Institute.
The notice alleges misuse of confidential information and concealment of key documents.
AESL has demanded EY’s removal as process advisor in BYJU’S ongoing insolvency case before NCLT Bengaluru, warning of legal action if no action is taken.
