Former Microsoft India executive Lathika Pai has filed a ₹35.3 crore civil suit against Microsoft India, claiming she was forced to resign due to a hostile work environment.
Pai, who led the “Highway to a 100 Unicorns” startup initiative, claims she faced months of intimidation and professional isolation following two internal probes.
She alleges procedural unfairness, including denial of access to complaints and unrecorded interviews, and says she was labeled a “troublemaker” and excluded from key forums.
The case was first filed in the Delhi High Court but later moved to a Bengaluru civil court. The next hearing is on June 9. Microsoft has not yet responded.
