GLC Kozhikode Tells Kerala High Court: Several Law Colleges Lack BCI Affiliation

The Kerala High Court was informed by Government Law College, Kozhikode that multiple law colleges in the state, including those at Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram, currently lack Bar Council of India (BCI) affiliation.

The submission was made in a petition regarding the 5-year BBA LLB (Hons) course at GLC Kozhikode, whose BCI approval expired in 2011.

The college stated that despite inspections and repeated communications with the BCI, affiliation has not been renewed, affecting students seeking higher studies abroad.

Justice VG Arun posted the matter for further hearing on December 8.
