Man Attend Gujarat High Court Virtual Hearing While Sitting on Toilet

A viral video shows a man, identified as “Samad Battery”, in a Zoom hearing before Justice Nirzar S. Desai, attending a Gujarat High Court session from a toilet. He is seen seated on the toilet, cleaning himself, then moving out to another room.

The court was hearing a case seeking the quashing of an FIR for the offence of cheque bouncing. He was the complainant in the criminal case.  However, the court quashed the FIR after the parties reached an amicable settlement, even though his behaviour was unusual.

This is not the first instance of inappropriate behaviour during virtual court proceedings, as similar incidents involving smoking have led to fines and summons in recent months.
