Gujarat High Court Issues Notice On Asaram Bapu’s Regular Bail Plea In 2013 Rape Case

The Gujarat High Court issued notice on the regular bail plea of Asaram Bapu, who is serving a life sentence in a 2013 rape case.

A Division Bench of Justices Ilesh J. Vora and P.M. Raval directed the issuance of notice to the prosecutrix and the State.

The Bench also refused to club his multiple bail applications pending in different courts.

Notably, the Rajasthan High Court recently extended his interim bail till August 29 for medical evaluation, while the Gujarat High Court extended his temporary bail till September 3.
