Gujarat Launches Legal Aid Clinics for Defence Personnel under NALSA Scheme

On August 13, the Gujarat Legal Services Authority virtually inaugurated legal services clinics in 11 districts under the NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana, 2025.

The scheme provides free and competent legal assistance to defence personnel, ex-servicemen, and their dependent family members.

Guided by High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice AY Kogje, the launch was attended virtually by High Court judges, HM Pavar (Member Secretary, GSLSA), Registry members, and district judicial officers.

Clinics in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhuj and other locations will offer legal aid through para-legal volunteers and panel advocates, expanding on the earlier clinic inaugurated at the Rajya Sainik Board.
