Hindustani Bhau Moves Bombay High Court Against Farah Khan Over Holi Remarks

Social media influencer Hindustani Bhau (Vikas Jayram Fhatak) has approached the Bombay High Court to request a police case against filmmaker Farah Khan.

He claims that Farah made an offensive comment about the Holi festival during Celebrity MasterChef in February 2025.

Bhau says Farah Khan’s comment about Holi being a festival for “chhapris” hurts the feelings of Hindus and creates tension between communities. He previously filed a complaint at Khar Police Station, demanding action under IPC sections 196, 299, 302, and 353.

Bhau argues that Bollywood frequently disrespects Sanatan Dharma. Farah Khan has not yet responded to the controversy.
