Delhi High Court Objects To Lawyer Appearing On VC From Park : Said Hybrid Courts are also Courts

The Delhi High Court criticized a lawyer for attending a court hearing via videoconferencing from a park while holding a mobile phone.

Justice Girish Kathpalia asked the Delhi High Court Bar Association as well as District Court Bar Associations to sensitize the members of the Bar regarding their appearances in hybrid courts.

The court also pointed out issues like lawyers being inaudible or not turning on their video

While relisting the matter for hearing on July 22, the court directed its Registry to extract paragraphs 3 and 4 of the order and send them to the Delhi High Court Bar Association and Bar Associations of all Districts of Delhi with the request to sensitize the appearance in hybrid courts.
