India’s Budget 2026 Positions Country as Global Supply Chain Hub

India’s Union Budget 2026 has introduced a range of reforms aimed at deepening the country’s integration into global supply chains and enhancing its manufacturing competitiveness.

The Budget includes customs facilitation measures, tax incentives for warehouse and logistics operations, bonded warehousing reforms, extended duty deferrals, and a tax holiday for foreign cloud services that collectively reduce procedural barriers and cost for global firms operating in India.

These steps, alongside existing production-linked incentive schemes and improved logistics frameworks, are designed to attract international investment, strengthen export competitiveness, and make India a credible alternative to established supply chain hubs in Asia.
