Indigo Paints and Mahindra Move to Delhi High Court After Failed Mediation Over 6E Trademark

Indigo Paints and Mahindra & Mahindra are headed for litigation in the Delhi High Court over the use of the "6E" trademark after mediation efforts failed.

The Joint Registrar (Judicial) noted that the dispute remained unresolved and directed both parties to submit photocopies of relevant documents along with a joint schedule.

The conflict arises from alleged brand confusion between Indigo’s paint products and Mahindra’s electric vehicle branding. With mediation unsuccessful, both companies are now preparing for a full-scale trial to resolve the intellectual property dispute.
