Isha Foundation Moves Supreme Court Against Tamil Media Outlet Nakkheeran From Publishing Defamatory Content

Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation has approached the Supreme Court seeking to restrain Tamil media outlet Nakkheeran Publications from continuing its alleged defamatory campaign. 

The move comes amid Nakkheeran’s pending transfer petition to shift Isha’s ₹3 crore defamation suit from Delhi to Chennai.

Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Isha, argued that the publication cannot seek a transfer while continuing its 'vilification campaign'. He emphasised that the Foundation is a charitable organisation with global followers.

A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Joymalya Bagchi has listed the matter for hearing next Monday.
