‘Jana Nayagan’ Producers Withdraw High Court Plea Against CBFC Over Certification Delay

The producers of Jana Nayagan, starring Vijay, have informed the Madras High Court of their decision to withdraw the petition filed against the CBFC over certification delay.

KVN Productions stated that it has opted to proceed with the movie’s review process and no longer wishes to pursue litigation.

The matter is likely to be listed before Justice P.T. Asha on February 10, 2026, under the caption “For Withdrawal.”

The case arose after disputes over CBFC’s decision to refer the film to a revising committee despite earlier assurances of a “UA” certificate.
