Justice Arun Mishra Appointed BCCI Ombudsman and Ethics Officer

Former Supreme Court judge, Justice Arun Mishra has been appointed as the Ombudsman and Ethics Officer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Justice Mishra, who served in the Supreme Court from July 2014 to September 2020, was previously the chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) from June 2021 to June 2024.

As distinguished legal professional, he has adjudicated approximately 97,000 cases across the High Courts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Calcutta, where he also served as Chief Justice.

Justice Mishra has made significant contributions to legal education in India.
