Justice (Retd.) Shiavax Jal Vazifdar Reappointed as Public Interest Director at BSE

SEBI has reappointed Justice (Retd.) Shiavax Jal Vazifdar as Public Interest Director on BSE Limited’s Board for three years.

He previously served as Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court from August 7, 2016, to May 3, 2018.

Before that, he was a Judge at the Bombay High Court from 2001 to 2014.

Enrolled as an advocate in 1980, he practiced extensively in the Bombay High Court, specializing in civil, commercial, and constitutional law.

His expertise and experience contribute to BSE’s governance and regulatory framework, ensuring transparency and effective oversight in line with SEBI’s objectives.
