Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul Appointed to Bahrain International Commercial Court

Retired SC Judge Sanjay Kishan Kaul has been appointed a member of the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC) by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.  

He is among the nine members appointed to the newly established BICC.

The BICC is an initiative under Bahrain's "Team Bahrain" program. It aims to boost private sector investment by offering a specialized forum for resolving disputes between parties.

The distinguished BCCI bench is led by renowned arbitrator Jan Paulsson, president, and former British judge Sir Christopher Greenwood, vice president. 

Justice Kaul retired from the Supreme Court as a judge in Dec 2023.
