Kashmir Court Convicts Spiritual Healer ' Pir Baba’ for Systemic Sexual Abuse of Minors

A Kashmir court has convicted Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh, a self-proclaimed faith healer known as Pir Baba, under Section 377 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) for sexually abusing minors. 

From 2012 to 2016, Sheikh exploited his religious authority to abuse victims under the guise of spiritual healing, using fear to silence them. The case surfaced in 2016 when a minor confided in his father, leading to an FIR.
