AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal told the Delhi High Court that the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) refusal to withdraw its challenge to his bail in the Delhi excise policy case is aimed at election propaganda.
The case involves allegations that the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 was designed to benefit liquor sellers, with kickbacks allegedly funding AAP’s Goa election campaign.
Kejriwal’s lawyer argued that all 15 accused in the case are already out on bail, making the ED’s appeal unnecessary.
The Delhi High Court has scheduled the next hearing for March 17, while Kejriwal remains free on bail.
