The Kerala State Child Rights Commission has initiated a suo-motu case in reaction to the tragic suicide of a 14-year-old boy who claimed to have been raged by his peers.
The Commission has directed the director of general education to carry out a thorough investigation into the incident and take the necessary measures against those responsible.
The child from a government school (Global Public School (GPS)) in Kottayam was reportedly bullied by his peers, and his family believes that this bullying is what ultimately led him to make this awful decision.
