Kerala High Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Actress Lakshmi Menon in Abduction Case

The Kerala High Court has granted anticipatory bail to actress Lakshmi Menon in an abduction case, protecting her from arrest. The case alleges her involvement in the abduction of a businessman, though she denies any role.

Menon has maintained in her anticipatory bail plea that the allegations are false and motivated and that she had no role in the alleged offences.

The Court noted the lack of concrete evidence against her and emphasised that custodial interrogation was unnecessary. Conditions include cooperation with the investigation and no tampering with evidence. 

The petition will be heard again on September 17.
