Kerala High Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Actress Lakshmi Menon in Assault-Abduction Case

On October 8, 2025, the Kerala High Court granted anticipatory bail to actress Lakshmi Menon in connection with an assault and abduction case involving an IT professional.

The complainant filed an affidavit stating that the dispute had been amicably settled and arose from a misunderstanding, expressing no objection to bail.

Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas noted that although serious allegations had been made, the parties had resolved the matter, and the complainant did not wish to pursue it further.

Accordingly, the court allowed Menon’s anticipatory bail.
