The Kerala High Court has indicated that toll collection at the Paliyekkara Toll Plaza on NH‑544 may resume, following a report confirming satisfactory repair work by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
A bench of Justices A. Muhamed Mustaque and Harisankar V. Menon noted that the suspension, initially ordered in August due to poor road conditions and congestion, could be lifted soon.
The Interim Traffic Management Committee reported that NHAI addressed potholes and damaged service roads.
The court is expected to pass a formal order shortly, potentially with conditions for the resumption of toll collection.
