UP Consumer Commission Stops Bar “Chica Loca by Sunny Leone” in Residential Complex Over Safety Concerns

The Uttar Pradesh Consumer Court has halted the construction and operation of “Chica Loca by Sunny Leone,” a bar and restaurant, inside the Experion Capital residential complex in Lucknow.

The Commission found that opening a bar in a residential area would disturb the peaceful and dignified living of residents, especially senior citizens, and violate the sanctioned layout and fire safety norms.

The builders were directed to pay ₹50,000 as litigation costs to the complainants and told to restore spaces meant for residents.

The forum also warned that any unauthorized commercial use in residential areas is prohibited.
