Madras High Court held that a wife watching pornography privately and indulging in self-pleasure cannot be considered cruelty to her husband.
The court rejected the husband’s allegations to divorce his wife due to private masturbation & sexually transmitted disease, saying the wife’s act did not violate the law under the Hindu Marriage Act, of 1955.
Furthermore, addressing the sexually transmitted disease aspect, the court dismissed the claims as no such blood report was furnished to substantiate his accusation. The High Court upheld the family court’s decision, dismissing the husband’s appeal.
