The Madras High Court dismissed petitions demanding a re-examination of NEET-UG 2025 due to a power outage at the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya CRPF centre in Avadi, Chennai.
Justice C. Kumarappan ruled that the National Testing Agency's (NTA) revealed no significant impact on students' performance during the exam.
The court held that, without evidence of malafide intent, ordering a re-exam would unfairly affect the level playing field for over 22 lakh students nationwide.
The decision allows the NTA to proceed with result declarations as scheduled.
