Madras High Court Restrains Food Influencer Food Pharmer from Disparaging ‘eZeEats Triguni’

  • Case Name: Triguni Food Private Limited vs. Revant Himatsingka & Ors.

The Madras High Court has issued a permanent injunction against health influencer Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer), restraining him from making disparaging remarks about Triguni Food's products.

The order follows a settlement in which Himatsingka agreed to the injunction, provided it did not curtail his freedom of speech.

Triguni filed a ₹10 lakh defamation suit over his social media posts claiming Indigo Airlines’ ready-to-eat meals had high sodium content.

The Court clarified that the ruling applies only to the current case and does not restrict Himatsingka’s speech in the future. However, he refused to take down the videos.
