MOA Assures Court No Athlete Will Suffer Due to Factionalism

The Maharashtra Olympic Association (MOA) assured the Bombay High Court that no sportsperson will be deprived of participating in the selection trials for the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, despite factionalism within the Maharashtra Volleyball Association (MVA).

The MOA confirmed that both factions of the MVA would be invited to send athletes for trials for the Beach Volleyball Women's Team, with successful athletes recommended for the National Games.

The dispute over the two factions is pending before the Charity Commissioner. Trials are set for this weekend ahead of the January 25, 2025, National Games.
