MP High Court Denies Bail To Lawyer Accused Of Raping, Trafficking Minor Girl

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has refused bail to a Rewa-based lawyer accused of raping and trafficking a minor girl. 

The court noted that the victim had specifically identified the accused during proceedings and that the allegations were serious, requiring a detailed investigation. 

The accused faces charges under Sections 363, 366-A, 376, 370, 419, and 120-B of the IPC, along with Sections 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act. The bench directed for the investigations to proceed without any interference.
