Vulgar Chats With Other Man Amounts To Mental Cruelty, Divorce Granted : Madhya Pradesh High Court

The Madhya Pradesh High Court ruled that a wife’s vulgar chats with other men amount to mental cruelty.

The husband is partially deaf and alleged his wife had been chatting about her sex life with her male friends.

The bench noted that husband and wife have the freedom to have conversations with friends. Still, the level of conversation should be decent and dignified with the opposite gender and not objectionable to the life partner.

After finding the husband's claims credible. The court further granted divorce to the man and dismissed the appeal.
