MPs led by Kapil Sibal seek Justice Yadav's impeachment

55 Rajya Sabha MPs, led by Kapil Sibal, have called for the impeachment of Allahabad High Court judge Shekhar Kumar Yadav, accusing him of misconduct, hate speech, and making controversial remarks, especially regarding things he said at a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) event.

The motion will be discussed in Parliament before the winter session ends, following the legal steps needed for impeachment.The impeachment process follows Article 124(4)of the Constitution

Judges who have faced impeachment motions in India include Justice V. Ramaswami, Justice Soumitra Sen, Justice J.B. Pardiwala and Justice C.V. Nagarjuna, but no one has been impeached yet.
