Mumbai Man Arrested For Defrauding Widows & Divorcees On Matrimonial Site Using Fake Profile

The accused, Pramod a 51-year-old man married a 48-year-old widow and fled with her gold jewelry. After an investigation revealed that he had been in contact with various other divorced and widowed women.

Pramod was arrested for allegedly defrauding divorcees and widows on the matrimonial website. It was exposed after a woman from Vile Parle filed a complaint when he absconded with her jewelry.

Police found him in Pune where he confessed his crime and discovered three to four other women, their statements will be recorded soon.

Complaints are filed, and charges will be registered against the accused and the investigation continues.
