NALSA Launches Nationwide Mediation Campaign to Resolve Pending Cases from July 1 to September 30

A 90-day nationwide campaign titled ‘Mediation for the Nation’ will run from July 1 to September 30, 2025, aiming to resolve pending court cases through alternative dispute resolution.

The campaign, launched jointly by NALSA and MCPC, promotes mediation as a cost-effective, time-saving, and relationship-preserving mechanism.

Courts across all levels will identify eligible cases, including matrimonial, cheque bounce, accident claims, and more, and list them for referral. 

Mediation will take place in physical, online, or hybrid formats, with weekly reports submitted and a final compilation due by October 6, 2025, while the National Judicial Academy and selected NLUs will conduct a detailed study on the campaign’s overall impact.
