National Lok Adalat scheduled on 14th Dec, 2024

National Lok Adalat is scheduled for December 14, 2024, to resolve pending and pre-litigation cases amicably. 

Lok Adalat, an alternative dispute redressal mechanism established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, provides final and binding decisions without appeals.

These forums handle compoundable offences and various civil disputes, including cheque bounce cases, bank recoveries, labour disputes, Matrimonial cases, Land acquisition, utility bill issues etc. 

From February 2015, National Lok Adalats will held on a specific subject matter every month.
