The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench, admitted an insolvency petition against BluSmart Mobility Tech, a subsidiary of the BluSmart Group.
The plea, filed by Lepton Software Export and Research, alleged default in payment of ₹5.84 crore for services provided between April 2024 and April 2025 and claimed that BluSmart failed to respond to a statutory demand notice issued in May 2025.
BluSmart argued that the contract lapsed in September 2024, making later invoices unenforceable. The Tribunal rejected this contention, commenced the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), and appointed Pawan Kumar Goyal as Interim Resolution Professional.
