The NCLT has suspended video-conferencing hearings at its Mumbai Bench due to cybersecurity breaches.
This decision, effective immediately, mandates that advocates, litigants, and media personnel attend hearings physically until the National Informatics Centre (NIC) certifies the systems as secure.
With the Hon’ble President’s approval, Registrar Utkarsh Yadav issued the order following two incidents compromising system integrity. VC proceedings will resume only after enhanced safeguards are implemented.
The tribunal has assured stakeholders that updates on the restoration of VC hearings will be shared soon. The notice is displayed on the NCLT website and notice boards.
