Strike by NCLT Mumbai staff over delayed salaries enters third day

The indefinite strike by 156 contractual and outsourced staff of the NCLT Mumbai Bench has entered its third day, citing non-payment of December 2024 salaries and irregular payments over six months.

Employees face severe financial hardships, including the inability to pay rent, EMIs, and basic expenses like groceries and medicines.

Despite repeated appeals, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has failed to address the issue, causing significant disruptions in tribunal operations.

The employees demand immediate payment, salary regularization, and fairness, vowing to continue the strike until their grievances are resolved.
