The Supreme Court permitted the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to conduct the NEET PG 2025 examination on August 3, postponing it from the earlier date of June 15.
This decision follows the Court's directive that the exam be held in a single shift to ensure fairness and uniformity, rejecting the previously proposed two-shift format.
NBEMS cited logistical challenges, including the need to double the number of test centers and enhance security measures, as reasons for the postponement.
The Court made it clear that no further extensions would be allowed.
