New Bill proposes Multiple Nominees for Bank Fixed Deposit

The New Bill allowed up to four nominees for fixed deposits, replacing the current rule of only one nominee.

The rule has provided 2 options -

• Simultaneous Nomination a percentage can be specified for each nominee
• Successive Nomination nominees inherit in sequence, upon the death of preceding ones

This system aims to facilitate smoother claim settlements and fund distributions to rightful heirs.
